Greetings from MAWA
Welcome! I am Mukunan, the president of the Malaysian Animal Welfare Association (MAWA) which my wife Anuratha and I established in 2016. Our mission is to raise awareness about animal welfare and protect the rights of animals in Malaysia. Our ultimate goal is to create a Zero Stray Nation where all stray animals are treated humanely and rehomed through effective neutering programs. Together with my wife Anuratha, our 2 children, 2 staff members, kind volunteers and contributors, we manage a shelter that currently houses over 240 dogs.
